You, the beauty – Cape May!

Cape May is one of the best seaside locations that I have even been to. The city is at the southern most tip of Cape May Peninsula. It is famous for its rich history, award winning beaches, and birdwatching. Cape May was recognized as one of America’s top 10 beaches by the Travel Channel.

We visited Cape May County Zoo and Park, Lighthouse and Sunset Beach during New Year’s eve this year.

Cape May County Zoo and Park provides free admission year-round to a collection of more than 550 animals representing 250 species. We are early risers and were at the zoo right when it opens up, so maybe would have woken up some animals too 🙂

Next was the Beach and Lighthouse, which pleases me anyway. It is one of the vast beaches i have encountered so far. Once atop the lighthouse, the vistas were simply gorgeous!

We (I always travel with wife, she is as excited as me every time) wanted to spend our evening at the Sunset beach, and I must say I was overwhelmed with the beauty there even as i spent 3 hours in the cold. The Sunset was charming as ever!

We could not cover Cape May’s Boardwalk (called as Promenade) that day, but it is one of the major attractions as well as it stretches for nearly two miles, taking you on a scenic walk or run past its spectacular beaches.

Cape May is a must watch if you are near it!
